Cris Sgrott and her sister Vanessa Sgrott have organization in their blood. Organizing Maniacs is founded on their shared passion for helping others live better, more organized lives through empathetic and environmentally conscious planning, recycling, and decluttering. Our certified organizers are ready to help with moves, junk removal, and organizational projects of all sizes.

 
 

CRIS SGROTT

CPO®, CPO-CD®, SMM-C® FOUNDED ORGANIZING MANIACS®, LLC IN 2007

Cris likes to think of herself as a nomad. She was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the US at the traumatic age of 15. She has lived in several states and driven cross country twice. She loves road trips, and to watch independent/weird movies that nobody else seems to enjoy. Whenever she has time, you can find her riding her road bike, hanging out with people, or of course organizing something at the house! She is also a self-professed “Education Junkie”, as you can tell by her long bio. She watched the movie “Yes, Man” with Jim Carrey, and says the movie changed her life. Lately, she is fascinated by the “Tiny House” Revolution, a show on the FYI Network.

 Cris is a Certified Professional Organizer, Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization, Certified Senior Move Manager, productivity consultant, speaker and business success educator dedicated to helping individuals and businesses become productive, organized, and successful. Cris holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Marketing with a minor concentration in Business Management from Old Dominion University ~ Norfolk, VA. With years of experience, Cris has spent many successful years in the corporate world.

 
 

 

 

VANESSA SGROTT

Client Relationship Associate

Vanessa has been with OM since 2018, and she manages all the back-end client intake and scheduling. Her journey with organization began in childhood as her mom kept an immaculate home that was meticulously organized. Vanessa’s love of connecting with clients began with her work as a hairstylist and has since evolved into expertise in client relationships in any industry.

“The connection we make during our calls with clients is so amazing.  Their vulnerability is so brave and I strive to create a safe space to make them feel that it's not so abnormal to be in their situation.”

Currently based in Connecticut, Vanessa immigrated from Brazil with her family at the age of 8. When not working, she is immersed in the world of her two children Adrianna and Carlo. Scheduling is the backbone of keeping her family's many lives in order while working full-time and being a present parent in the community. Vanessa enjoys building relationships in all aspects of her life and looks forward to organizing all the moving pieces of large holiday gatherings for her family and friends to enjoy.
