Meet Wendy Massarelli
Meet Wendy Massarelli! Wendy grew up in Ohio and has brought her love of the Ohio State Buckeye’s all the way with her to Northern Virginia. And while Ohio may be called “The Mother of Presidents,” Wendy could just as well be called “The Mother of Time Management.” We sat down with Wendy to find out more about what makes Wendy the Organizing Maniac she is.
Q: Why do you love organizing?
I love the challenge of figuring out how to make everything fit neatly into the space provided. It is like a giant puzzle (which I love). But mainly I love the sense of calm that I feel after a space is organized. It makes me feel happy and satisfied.
Q: What was your favorite musical group when you were in middle school?
Jimmy Buffett – Definite Parrot Head
Q: Dog or Cat?
Q: Are you a morning or night person?
A morning person. I am definitely more productive first thing in the morning. There is nothing better than getting up before anyone else in my house, getting my cup of coffee and getting started on my To Do List in a quiet house. Sometimes that list has reading my Book Club book, which is a great way to start the day.
Q: Who has inspired you most in your life?
My Mom. She always sees the best in people and situations. She is fair, kind, always willing to help and always looking to learn more about different people and cultures. In addition to those qualities that I have tried to emulate, my mom taught me to believe in myself, give myself room to make mistakes, learn from mistakes, and always try to be a better person. I feel so lucky to have her in my life.
