Resolution #3 – Get Organized
How can you get organized and live a more organized life?
First, narrow down that goal. Figure out what ‘organized’ means to you.
Do you need to declutter your space, clean out a closet, create a filing system for paperwork, or maybe work on your time management? The more specific a goal is, the easier it will be to accomplish it.
Next, create an action plan. Goals are nice, but without action, you won’t be able to achieve them. Remember to start small and work on a reward system. For example, if you want to organize your closet, but feel overwhelmed at the thought of it, consider focusing on just one aspect of that goal at a time. Put a box in or near your closet and each time you come across an article of clothing you don’t love, toss it into the box. When the box is full, drop it off at a local charity like Goodwill.
This requires just a little bit of energy on your part, but will have a big pay off as your closet slims down and only contains clothing you actually enjoy wearing.
